Your team's agents finish their runs.
Not stall when a Mac falls asleep.

Every engineer running Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex has lost a long agent run to a Mac that fell asleep mid-task. Multiply that across your team and it's real, recurring time lost. AgentBarista fixes the sleep problem on every engineer's Mac, and each Mac keeps its own honest number for what it kept awake.

Why this matters to you

What you can actually see today.

Right now, every engineer on your team is manually keeping their Mac awake, or quietly losing runs to sleep. AgentBarista turns that into a number: hours of agent time kept awake, on each Mac that runs it. The org-wide rollup people ask for next would need a server layer we have decided not to build this year — so today this is a per-Mac number and a conversation, not a dashboard.

Add it up
multiply your team size by each Mac's hours of agent runtime kept awake instead of losing to sleep — counted today by hand across the org
Per Mac
each engineer sees their own agent activity and kept-awake time — there is no cross-Mac view today
1 number
per Mac, kept-awake time counted honestly — lid-open and lid-closed never added together

We don't have a published case study yet — when a team shares real before/after numbers, they go here instead of placeholders.

The honest inventory

What's real for a team today — and what isn't.

Auto-detecting an agent and keeping a Mac awake is solved, and it works the same on one Mac or forty. The team layer above it is mostly not built yet. Here is the honest inventory.

Manager dashboard — not planned this year

The honest version: each Mac keeps its own record of agent activity and kept-awake time, lid-open and lid-closed counted separately. Rolling that up across an org needs a server layer, and we decided against building one this year rather than keep it on a roadmap. If that rollup is the thing you actually need, tell us — it is the strongest argument for changing our mind.

Central deploy — not yet

We are not going to claim this before it works. Holding a Mac awake with the lid shut needs an admin approval that no configuration profile can grant on your engineers' behalf — so today it means an admin password prompt on each Mac — once when lid-closed mode engages, and again when it's released — because macOS does not cache the approval for this. A privileged installer component is what would fix it, and it is not built.

Org policy — not built

Every setting is per-Mac today: which agents count, power profiles, idle grace. Pushing one default set to a fleet needs the same managed layer central deploy needs, and it is not built. Setting defaults across a group today means doing it by hand on each Mac.

Can work on a locked, lid-shut Mac

There's an opt-in mode that holds sleep off with the lid closed, so a run continues while the Mac sits locked. Three honest conditions: it's off by default, turning it on needs an admin password on that Mac, and we have not measured how long a lid-shut Apple-Silicon Mac lasts on battery — so we won't promise you an overnight run. Also, to be exact about who does what: macOS locks the screen on your own schedule. We don't lock anything and don't claim to.

One license type, for everyone

There is no separate team SKU. Every Mac runs the same AgentBarista Personal License — $19/year, billed annually, for 1 Mac. Teams buy the 5-Mac Pack ($129/year, flat), or several of them. $19/year, locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. Cancel any time. Sales tax/VAT and invoicing are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

Same privacy posture, org-wide

AgentBarista never opens your files. To tell a working agent from a finished one it looks at process command lines and CPU, at the names and modification times of your agents' session files, and — only if you grant macOS Accessibility permission — at the on-screen text of the agent apps you enable and of the terminals we support. Two of those can contain your own words: a command line includes any prompt you pass on it, and on-screen text includes whatever is visible in that window, your code included. Both are matched against status phrases on your Mac and discarded on the spot: never stored, never sent. Nothing about your work leaves your Mac — no file contents, no code, no prompts, no file names, no activity data. Your stats and settings stay on this Mac. The app contains no analytics or telemetry of any kind. Its network calls are two: license validation, sent to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy — activating a license sends your license key and your Mac’s name, and the routine check after that sends your license key and an anonymous instance id, nothing else — and an update check that fetches the new-version list from agentbarista.com, sends no personal data, and can be turned off in Settings. That's true for every seat. If we ever build that org-wide rollup, activity reporting would be a separate, clearly labeled opt-in for enrolled team Macs — never silent, and still never file contents.
